Design Review

Ten categories you can design for.

The fertility and correction your soil and plants actually need, built from what your tests show rather than what the bag recommends.

Designs can include liquid and granular fertility, calcium and magnesium corrections, micronutrient packages, carbon inputs, foliar programs, soil amendments and conditioners, pH correction, salt and sodium management, and organic-listed options.

The living side of your soil and plants, built to do work you're currently doing with products.

Designs can include microbial inoculants, compost and compost extracts, brewed biological teas, mycorrhizal and root-zone inoculants, biological soil primers, carbon and food sources for biology, and organic matter integration.

Everything fixed in place, inside the house and out.

Designs can include water filtration and treatment systems, whole-home and point-of-use water systems, plumbing and piping, wells and pump systems, irrigation systems, drainage and water control, rainwater capture and cisterns, ponds and water features, raised beds and planters, retaining walls and hardscape, patios and walkways, fencing and borders, greenhouses and garden structures, sheds and outbuildings, building materials and finishes, insulation and windows, ventilation and air systems, and lighting.

The mobile side: what you run, pull, and operate.

Designs can include mowers, trimmers and edgers, sprayers and applicators, spreaders, tillers and cultivators, aerators, chippers and shredders, hand tools, watering equipment, compost equipment, small tractors and utility vehicles, and the tools and attachments that run with them.

What goes in the ground, matched to what your ground can carry.

Designs can include turf and lawn species, vegetable and food varieties, ornamentals and flowering species, native and pollinator plantings, cover crops for beds, trees and shrubs, groundcover and low-water species, seed treatments and inoculants, and blends built for your soil and your light.

The animals on your place as part of the system.

Designs can include pet-durable yard and traffic planning, pet-safe planting and material selection, backyard poultry setup and management, beekeeping setup, pollinator and bird habitat, wildlife access and exclusion, animal water and shade planning, and feed and supplement selection.

The control side: what you apply to keep pressure off what you're growing.

Designs can include herbicide programs, insecticide programs, fungicide programs, nematicide and soil-borne disease control, rodenticide and vertebrate control, mosquito and biting insect control, termite and structural pest control, and resistance management across the program.

The work that goes beyond the standard nine.

Designs can include work at scale (large properties, estates, multi-lot), specialized requirements (HOA, historic, deed-restricted, or municipal specs), and problems that need research and invention rather than selection: custom builds, one-off solutions, and work where nothing off the shelf fits your property.

What you need to know to run what we build and beyond.

Designs can include reference guides for the program we built, seasonal and calendar-based reference tools, decision aids and plant guides, visual and step-by-step documentation, and self-directed learning packages for the homeowner running it without us.

How the place actually gets run.

Designs can include maintenance calendars and schedules, standard procedures for the work, contractor and service-provider specs, recordkeeping and documentation, budget and cost planning, and integration of the whole build into how you already use your property.

Choose How We Design

Every module can be designed in one of three ways:

A list. What to buy, what to use, what to run, chosen for your place. You take it from there.

This is for the homeowner who has the tools, the hands, and the know-how, and just needs to stop guessing at the store.

The build, engineered for our crew to deploy for you.

Products, rates, placement, sequencing, and timing, designed for your property and written for our team and our subcontractors to put in. This is the build we work from in the deploy stage.

The build, engineered to leave our hands.

The same build, written to stand entirely on its own so you can deploy it however you choose: your own contractors, your landscaper, or yourself.
