STEP 01 · DEFINE

Tell us what better looks like.

Define is where the Owner's Project Requirements, Basis of Design, regulatory drivers, certification targets, schedule, and budget all get aligned. Architects, civil, MEP, structural, landscape, and operations all need to know what soil-water-biology scope is in play before design development starts. Define is the gate that makes the rest of the program possible.

What We Listen For

We've heard it all.

If any of these goals sound like yours, we know what to do next. If your goal isn't here, tell us anyway. Chances are we've heard it before.

Data Centers & Critical Infrastructure

Close the water loop on a hyperscale or colocation site
Recover cooling-system heat into a regional agriculture loop
Defend the project to host community and water utility
Document watershed-positive performance for ESG and PR
Integrate regenerative infrastructure into CSI specs and BIM
Turn the project from extractive to net-positive on water

Four intake steps to project scoping

1

Questionnaire

Quick online intake. Project class, scale, design phase, certification targets, OPR, and program details.

2

Intake Call

45 minutes with our team. Walk through your intake answers, design-team setup, BIM coordination approach, and certification pursuit.

3

Site Visit

On-site walkdown where applicable. Stratify the sampling plan, confirm methodology, and lock the diagnostic scope to match the project.

4

Mileage Pay

Travel beyond our service radius is paid before the visit. Locked at the call, no surprises after the fact.

 Mileage Pricing

Round-trip mileage measured from 77880 zip code. The per-mile rate decreases at longer distances as fixed lodging costs spread across the trip. Mileage is the only charge in Define. Everything else is on us. Virtual consults available for qualifying projects.
