The land and soil itself: how it sits, what it's made of, and how it behaves. Slopes and elevation, soil types and texture, color, rocks, hard or compacted spots, etc.

Anything you're growing, want to grow, or is growing on its own: crops, forage, grass, trees, gardens, native cover, etc.

Anything you use or want to use. Fertilizer, amendments, weed and pest control, feed, supplements, treatments, or anything you use now or used before that you desire a certain outcome with, are having troubles with, or have an interest in running tests on, etc.

Anything you're trying to get rid of or keep away: weeds, insects, disease, rodents, invasive plants or animals, other pressures causing you trouble, etc.

Animals you keep, manage, or want on your land: livestock, pets, wildlife, game, etc.

Where your water comes from and what's in it: wells, city water, rain, ponds, streams, irrigation, etc. Its source, how you use it, and whether its quality concerns you.

How your current or planned building systems work for the people using them: heating and cooling, air quality, water systems, lighting, energy and water bills, building materials, anything not performing the way it should, etc.

Anything harmful that might be in your soil, water, air, buildings, etc.: chemicals, metals, fuel, mold, residues, waste, etc., including anything left behind by how the property was used before.

Conditions that could threaten your land, project, infrastructure, or the people on it: flooding, erosion, unstable ground, protected species, regulations, nearby facilities, hazards on or around the site, etc.

The weather and seasonal conditions your land lives with: heat, cold, rain, drought, wind, growing season, how those conditions are changing over time, etc.
