STEP 03 · DESIGN
From knowing the land to acting on it.
Diagnose tells you what's happening. Design tells you what to do: built for your property, your species, and whoever's putting it on the ground.
Three steps to your ultimate game plan.
1
Initial Scoping
We walk through your diagnostic findings together, talk through what you want addressed, and define the actual scope of your design.
2
Design Work
Bespoke to your scope. Could be a few hours of custom product selection. Could be weeks of integrated planning across food plots, water, infrastructure, and herd nutrition.
3
Consult Visit
We walk through your finished plan together, answer questions, and confirm the path forward. From here you can move into Deploy.
Six categories you can design for.
Pick as many or as few as your goals require. Each can be designed at the level of detail you actually need; from focused recommendations to full infrastructure specs.
Minerals, balance, soil correction
The mineral inputs and timing that move your property toward the balance your land actually needs. Specific products, specific rates, specific application windows. Designed for your zones of food plots, native habitat, mineral stations, watering points.
Microbial community, soil life
Restoring the biological community that drives forage productivity, holds water, and builds long-term carrying capacity. Inoculants, compost protocols, and biological amendments matched to what your soil panel showed is missing.
Installs and infrastructure
Water systems, smart irrigation, non-invasive infrastructure, compost setups. Food plot layouts and access. Water sources, troughs, springs, pond infrastructure. Blind placement and shooting lanes. Fencing strategies. Mineral station locations. Sized equipment specs and installation drawings when needed.
Food plots, native restoration, browse establishment
Custom seed selection and planting plans for your property. Annual plot rotations. Perennial plots designed for multi-year payoff. Native habitat restoration. Mast tree planting. Browse enhancement zones. All matched to your soil chemistry and the species you're managing for.
Pest, parasite, disease, predator management
Strategies for the threats that erode your investment in the herd, the fishery, or the habitat. Targeted, biologically informed, and matched to the species you're managing. Integrated pest management for plots, fisheries, and wildlife health.
Herd nutrition, supplemental programs, fishery management
The animal-facing part of the plan. Mineral programs designed around the gaps your tissue and forage analysis showed. Supplemental feeding strategies that actually move body condition. Fishery management protocols for water chemistry and population dynamics. Built for the animals on your specific property.
✽ Your path, your choice
Edapho design pathways
Designed for Edapho to deploy.
We build the plan knowing our team will execute it. Streamlined documentation. Internal sourcing. Permit and contractor coordination handled. Food plot installation, water work, mineral station placement; all handled by our crew. You stay focused on hunting your property, not managing the work.
Fits clients who:
- Want a handled, single-vendor experience
- Don't have time to coordinate contractors during the season
- Value Edapho's installation crew handling execution
- Prefer one accountable team for the whole property
Designed for you to deploy.
We build the plan knowing you'll execute it yourself, alongside your existing land manager, or with the local contractor who already knows the property. Contractor-ready specs. Product lists. Decision-support woven through. You stay in the driver's seat.
Fits clients who:
- Already have a land manager or contractor they trust
- Want to DIY food plot installation and ongoing management
- Prefer to source products and labor themselves
- Want a plan they own and can adapt season over season
What's in your Design package.
A real document, designed like everything else we deliver. The exact contents depend on the categories and depth you chose during scoping.
Your Design Document Deliverable 01
A comprehensive plan built around your diagnostic findings, your stated goals, and the scope you selected. Designed page-by-page, not assembled from templates.
Product Specifications Deliverable 02
For every category you chose Product Design or above: a specific list of inputs with quantities, application rates, timing, and sequencing. Built for the property you actually have; zones, acreage, species.
Infrastructure Plans Deliverable 03
If your design includes Structure: sized equipment specs, install drawings, integration notes, food plot layouts, water source designs, and any permit considerations. Built to be installation-ready by us or by your contractor depending on your path.
Implementation Sequence Deliverable 04
The order things happen in, and why. Immediate priorities, seasonal timing, and long-term shifts; sequenced so each step builds on the one before it. Built around the hunting calendar and the growing season.
Re-Test Schedule Deliverable 05
When to test again, what to measure, and what changes we'll be looking for. So you can hold us or your own work to the predictions in the plan, season over season.
What Comes After
From plan to action.
Once your design is in hand, Deploy is where it becomes real. Our crew installing what you've planned. Our products shipping for you to apply. Your schedule running. Your property changing for the better. More game, healthier fisheries, better hunts season over season.
